boxelder bug infestation

Boxelder bugs entering homes can be a nuisance for many. Sometimes, infested homes will start preparing during late summer and all throughout fall. Insecticides and pesticides made for outdoor use are usually sprayed to prevent the bugs from entering the home. Unfortunately, for Boxelder bugs who have entered a home, or those that failed to leave after winter, it may pose as problem for the owners. You do not have to use insecticides or pesticides since these bugs will only last for a few weeks. They will also not reproduce in your home and they will move out as soon as spring comes. What owners can do to prevent the stains from the wall or the excrements the bugs will leave behind is to remove them using a broom or a vacuum. This is safer and if the bugs are closer to the door, you can also use insecticide but this will not mean that the bugs will not return in your home.
